STAINLESS STEEL TUBE

Austenitic stainless steel pipe and tubing used for a variety of reasones, to resist corrosions and oxidation, to resist high temperature, for low maintenance costs, and to maintain the purity of materials which come in contact with spotless. the inherent characterisrics of stainless steel perm it the design of thin wall tubing system without fear of early failure due to corrodion. stainless steel is not a specific material, it is the name given to a group of corrosion-resistant steels containing a chromium, varying additions of nickel, molybdnum and other elements may be also be present, the mechanical properties and behaviour depends upon its composition. it is am ong the most highly corrosion-resistent materisls availlable to be used for, oil, chemical and petro-chemical industry, plant, construciton and engineered products.

● Test Pressure(Min.) in Calculation

The test pressure or stress shall be datermined by the following equation:
p=25t/D or 220. 6t/D

p - hydrostatic test pressure in Mpa [ 1=Map=10Bar ]
S - 50% of the specified minimum yield point / strength in Mpa [ 1Map=1N/㎟ ]
t - specified wall thickness (mm)
D - specified outside diameter (mm)
+ In accordance with ASTM A 312(A530) & A269(A450) which is equivalent to KS D 3576 & JLS G 3459.
